Leon Ford Jr., 37 of Portage, IN called home on April 12, 2017. Leon was a graduate of Lew Wallace High School class of 1999; he also attended Gary Career Center where he earned an apprenticeship in Welding. Leon was an employee of Banner Management Properties, and a former employee of Trillium. Leon was a member of the Temple of God Church. Leon was a former member of Bethlehem Healing Temple. He was preceded in death by grandmothers Mother Mary Jackson and Mother Mary Ford-Davis. Leon leavest o cherish his memories his dedicated and loving wife CharLotta Ford; parents Elder Leon (Mary Rose) Ford Sr., grandparents Lyon (Wilanne) Rodgers, Bishop Scottie (Debra) Jackson; 7 brothers Theodore (Stephanie) Rodgers, Devon (Erica) Rodgers, James (Evette) Ford, Scottie Ford, Melvin Ford, Deon (Nicole) Ford and Michael Ford; sister Parthenian Ford and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday, April21, 2017 from12-8:00 p.m. Family hours 6-8:00 p.m. at the Guy & Allen Chapel. Funeral service Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Healing Temple 700 Jefferson Street.
