Louise Terry Forrest was born April 8, 1929 in Gary, IN to Chadwell and Lorene Terry. Louise attended Lincoln Elementary School and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1948. On May 21, 1951 she married Otis Edward Forrest and to this union a son was born Otis Edward Forrest, Jr., affectionately called "Bugsy". Louise was employed at R.R. Donnelly & Sons (Chicago, Il), Sears, Jewels' and U.S. Steel (Tube Works). As a young adult she and her family joined Bethlehem A.M.E. Zion Church. Louise served faithfully until her health failed. She was a member of the Missionary Society, Kitchen Committee and Excelsior Court, No 39, O.O. C. Louise exchanged time for eternity on October 1, 2018 after a short illness. She leaves to cherish fond memories 2 sisters Vera J. Thornton and Brenda J. Johnson of Gary, Indiana. Sister-in-law Emma Terry of Indianapolis, IN. special nieces Vernettra (Dorwaine) Roberts, Angela (Marlon) Moore and Sharron (Charles) Craylon all of Gary, IN. Special nephews Delvert E. Cole and Eugene (Joi) Johnson III, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation Monday, October 8, 2018 from 9 to 11:00 a.m. with funeral services at 11:00 a.m. All services at Bethlehem A.M.E. Church, 560 W. 19th Ave. Rev. Hensley A. Gooden, officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery.
