I was sorry to hear of the passing of my beloved Mary Carpenter. Mrs. Carpenter and i worked together at the Department of Public Welfare together for several years. Mrs. Carpenter trained me when i started working in the Food Stamp Department and i was determined i couldn't get the budget right. She made me do budgets all day and believe me i did them all night in my sleep and the next day i told her i got it. We would tease her about the rose in her jaws and say they came from God. I will always remember her with love and how much she loved her son and family. Don't reap for her because she is happy with Jesus along and gone to receive the reward God promised. Gone but never forgotten.

To the family of Sis. Carpenter, I express my deepest sympathy. Your loss is Heaven's gain. I cannot begin to express the love I have for Sis. Carpenter. She was so sweetly saved and always the same sweetness year in and year out. I'm a better saint for having known her. My prayers are with the family as you adjust to your new normal without Sis. Carpenter's physical presence.

Praise The Lord to the Carpenter and Simmons Family.
Words can't express the LOVE AND RESPECT I have for Sister Carpenter. Not only because she was one of my mother's dearest and closest friends (Mother Rodgers) but because she was an USHER OF PERFECTION AND MY MENTOR AS A WOMAN OF GOD! Love will be in my heart for Sister Carpenter as long as I live! "PRECIOUS IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD IS THE DEATH OF HIS SAINTS"
