Mary Lee (Walker) Longino, departed this life on May 27, 2018. She was born on May 11, 1948 in Monticello, Mississippi to Martin Luther Walker and Mary Lee Smith Walker. Mary had been a resident of Gary, IN for 53 years and a dedicated member of Mount Horeb Missionary Baptist church where she served for 50 years. She enjoyed a long-time career as a Nursing Assistant and retired from Lincolnshire Nursing Home in Merrillville, IN. Preceded in death by parents, 3 brothers, Robert, Luther James, Herman Walker, and 2 sisters, Lentee Walker and Beatrice Walker Ervin. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 54 years, Aaron Longino Sr., 2 sons; Aaron (Doranna) Longino Jr., Humble, TX., Eric (Tayna) Longino, Furlong, PA; daughter Denise Boone, Gary IN.; 4 sisters Madie Watson of Monticello, MS.; Melva W. Robinson, Myrdis Johnson, and Eula Myers, all of Chicago, IL.; 7 grandchildren. Visitation, Friday June 15, 2018 12pm-8pm. Family hours 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Guy & Allen Chapel. Funeral services Saturday, June 16th, 2018 11:00am at Mount Horeb Missionary Baptist Church 456 Hamlin St. Gary, IN. Internment Ridgelawn Cemetery
