To the Family of Michael Morton

Dear Family,

The Lake County Recorder’s office wishes to extend to you our most heartfelt sympathy during the loss of your loved one.

Michael Morton will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Our consolation lies in the fact that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We know that he was one of God’s own, and so we celebrate his homegoing. He has been given a new, heavenly body that will enter into the presence of the Lord and rejoice among the angels.

While we recognize that you are experiencing a time of profound loss and sorrow. Proverbs 3:5-6 states “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Please remember that God can, God will, and it is up to us to accept what He does. To the family of Michael Morton, may the Lord bless you and comfort you. We, the Lake County Recorder’s office, pray that God will ease the pain of your loss through the good memories of his life with you and the legacy that Michael Morton leaves behind.

Respectfully submitted,

Michael A. Brown,
Lake County Recorder
