age 85 of Gary, IN passed away October 5, 2018. She was born September 24, 1933 in Louisville, MS to the late Zeb & Stella Glass. Ola Mae united with Pilgrim M B Church under the pastorage of Rev. F. W. Coleman and served in the Inspirational Choir and Usher Board. Ola remained a member under the pastorage of Rev. C. L. Emery. She was employed at the Pizza Tap, was a chef cook on the Indiana Toll Road and was also a cook at the Ramada INN in Lake Station, Indiana. She then served as a practical nurse at Evening View Nursing Home in Crown Point, Indiana. Ola Mae was united in holy matrimony to Joe Anderson of Little Rock, Arkansas and to this union three children were born Velma Lee Jordan, Stella Gross and Bobby Joe Anderson who all preceded her in death. Ola Mae is survived by Sisters Zettie L. (Pluma) Shields of Louisville, MS and Gladys (Louis) Moorer of East Palo Alto, CA; Brothers Kenny (Betty) Glass of Palo Alto, CA, Zeb Glass of Carson City, NV and Lamar Glass of East Palo Alto, CA; grandson Stephan Joseph Anderson of Indianapolis, IN; god daughter and caregiver Elaine Branch of Markham, IL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday October 12, 2018 from 9-11a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00a.m. All Services at the Guy & Allen Chapel. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
