On January 5, 1944 Priscilla "Prissy" Thomas was born to the late Jessie and Jennifer Stevens. She was a resident of Gary, IN. During her life she held several nursing and management positions. Priscilla was loving, full of laughter and joy, and very encouraging. She enjoyed cooking, reading her daily scriptures, spending time with family and friends and last but not least going to church. Priscilla was Head Deaconess and Superintendent at Mizpah Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Gary, IN, Priscilla transitioned from this earthy life on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Auburn Village, Auburn, IN. She is preceded in death by both parents, Jessie and Jennifer Stevens; Aunt Mary Waters, sons March Ratney and Basil, daughter Jennifer. She leaves to cherish her memory (1) son; Broderick Morgan, (7) grandchildren, (10) great grandchildren, (2) sisters, Andrea Russell, Linda Russell, (3) brothers, Rodney (Rosie) Russell, Kyle Russell, Hoyt Davis. Home-going Service will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Mizpah Seventh-Day Adventist located at 2350 Jefferson St. Gary, IN 46407. Visitation will start at 11:00 am followed by service at 12:00pm. Interment Fern Oaks Cemetery.

You were one of the STRONGEST women I know. I'll miss that strength and your LAUGHTER. You had a amazing laugh, girl! It seemed you could get through any and everything.... with grace with STYLE and laughter. I thought you'd come thru this too, and we'd laugh together again. You're an ancestor now, watching over us. I love you cuz!
