Renee (NaNa) Lorraine Hughes, 44 of Gary, Indiana passed away peacefully on May 11, 2018. Renee was born in East Chicago, Indiana on August 15, 1973 where she accepted Christ at an early age. She touched many people hearts everywhere she went. Renee dedicated her life to her family and truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Garland Hughes, mother and step-father Kimberly and Jerome Tolbert, brother De'Andre Thompson. Renee is survived by her four daughters CaMica (Terrell) Johnson, Tanisha Robinson, Lakisha Smith and Mia Hughes; three sisters Esperanza (Avery)Vazquez, Ajita (Cipriano) Rodriguez, and Enchante Vasquez; nine grandchildren Terrell Jr., Tre'vaun, Jeryle, Terryana, Jazaria, Makayla, Malayah, Nathan Jr., and soon to arrive baby Kassidy and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday, May 25, 2018 from 9:00a.m.-1:00p.m. with Funeral services to follow at 1:00p.m. all services at the Guy & Allen Chapel. Pastor Anthony Edwards officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.
