affectionately called "Tut" was born July 1, 1934, to the late Matthew Nash and Essie Groves Nash in Kosciusko, Mississippi. She professed her belief in Christ at an early age. She married the late Reverend James W. Stevenson. To this union they were blessed with ten children. Mother Rosetta Stevenson made her heavenly transition on Monday, December 3, 2018, at the age of 84. She is preceded in death by her Parents: Matthew and Essie Nash; Brothers: Ollie Nash, Albert Gene Nash, James (Jack) Nash, and Alious Nash; Sister: Mae Willie Coleman; Son: James Lawrence Stevenson; Daughter: Cynthia Stevenson, and Grandson: Brandon Stevenson. She leaves to cherish her memories Sons: Ronald Stevenson, Craig Stevenson, Walter Scott Stevenson; Daughters: Barbara Swift, Patricia Mack, Carol Perry (Samuel), Joyce Stevenson and Brenda Jo Stevenson-Boley; Grandchildren: Lisa, James III, Kenya, Belinda, Chenear Rosetta, Joseph, Angela, Robert, Roderick, Dustin, Zachary, Samuel, Solomon, Craig Jr., and Rayna; 19 Great Grandchildren, Church members, as well a host of other relatives, and friends. Visitation Monday, December 10, 2018 from 12-8:00p.m. with family hours 6-8p.m. Funeral services Tuesday December 11, 2018 at 11:00a.m. at Father's Heart Church 2225 Broadway. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery.

Growing up, the Stevenson household was a staple in my life filled with very fond memories of Mrs. Stevenson and the entire family. I am truly saddened by and sorrowful for your loss. May God bless you and grant you peace in your time of bereavement.
