Ruby "Flank" Lewis

Ruby Lewis "Flank" age 94 passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Aperion Care in Dolton, IL. She was a graduate of Wendell Phillips High School. Ruby was a member of New Bethel Fellowship Church. Preceded in death by husband Felix Lewis, adopted son Felix J. Lewis, 2 sisters Annabell King, Laura Jones, 3 brothers Mack Smith, David Smith and Areelle Smith. She leaves to cherish her fond memories son John Lewis,adopted daughter Cassandra Lewis, sister Ethel Davis, brother Sylvester Smith; 3 grandchildren Lakeisha Armstrong, John Lewis Jr. and Ariana Varnado, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday, December 14, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. with funeral services to follow all at 11:00a.m. at the New Bethel Fellowship COGIC 134 West 43rd Avenue. Rev. Jerry Warren officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.
