Stephen Curtis Pullen Sr. age 60 of Gary, Indiana passed away on May 15, 2017 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a graduate of West Side High School class of 1974. Stephen also attended Vincennes University and Indiana State University. He was a member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church for many years. Stephen worked for UPS until he was called home to be with the Lord. He is preceded in death by his parents Cleophis and Mildred Pullen Sr., sister Shirley Vanzant, and nephew Kevin Vanzant. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving sons Stephen Pullen Jr.,Van Pullen, Dennis Pullen and James Kelly all of Gary, Indiana; mother of his children Rochelle Kelly, 8 grandchildren, brother Cleophis Pullen Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday May 26, 2017 from 9-11:00a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00a.m. all services at Tree of Life Missionary Baptist Church 2323 West 11th Avenue. Rev. Eric Boone officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.

I was heartbroken to hear that Bae Bru had passed. We grew up down the street from each other.I remember him being a quiet person and maybe a loud laugh at a joke. I extend my prayers and sympathy to the family. God will take care of you. Depend on Him to get you through.
