was born January 8, 1930 to the union of Cornelius and Mamie Rucker in Tate, Georgia. Mr. Rucker retired from the United States Air Forced. He was a member of New Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church and Male Chorus. Preceded in death are former wife Georgia, daughter Joyce Denise Rucker; Parents Cornelius and Mamie Rucker: Brothers: Lucious (Iowa), Odell (Annie), Dennis (Jessie Mae), Andrew (Jeanette), Emanuel Rucker, and Nelson Jones. Sisters: Caramay Rucker, and Mary Joyce (Lee) Alston. Stepmother Cora Rucker. Left to mourn his passing; devoted wife Sheilah Warren Rucker, Mother in law Anne Sawyer; Brother in laws: Earl (Pat), Keith (Aletrice), Kyle (Bertha), Dennis (Ida Bell) Warren. Daughters: Allenisha (Damon) Johnson; Tanya Deveux, Willa Gibson, Son: Patric Rucker ;Grandchildren; Dasha Johnson, Amonte Davenport, Quinten and Talea Deveux, Patrick A, Danielle, and Deondra Rucker. Beloved sister in laws Mary Riley Rucker, and Arlisa Rucker, and a host of nieces, nephews. Visitation Monday September 25, 2017 from 9-11:00 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00a.m. all services at the New Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Interment Calumet Park Cemetery.
