Worldy V. Millard, Sr. was born in Biscoe, AR on May 8, 1937. He was the youngest child of Henry and Mary (Magdalene) Millard. He was past Master of St. Luke Lodge #43 and past Grand Lecture of MWPH Grand Lodge of Indiana. Proceeding him in death were siblings Florida (Chick) Roby, Gracie Brim, Ernestine (Piggie) Williams, Willie (Dutch) Millard. Survived by brothers Earnest (Jean) Millard Sr. and Theodore (Betty) K. Millard Sr. He leaves behind to cherish his memory four loving children; Liz Retic, Worldy (Van) Millard Jr., Phillip E. Millard, and Brian E. Millard; fiancé Adreana Bethany, (Children Brandon Lloyd and Taryn Staggers); 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation is Friday July 7, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Family Hour is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Masonic Service at 6:30 p.m.) at the Guy & Allen Chapel, 2959 W. 11th Ave. Funeral service Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Institutional Baptist Church, 2400 Virginia St. Gary, IN 46407. Pastor John Talley, officiating. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery.
