CORRECTION. March 17, 2012 was a day of celebration as DaVea Lenora Smith entered this world in Indianapolis, IN, full of hope & determination. At age 3, on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, she departed this world for a better place. DaVea attended Bethune Early Learning Center. She was the smartest, most loving, caring 3 year old you could ever imagine. She recorded Bubble Guppies as if it was her soap opera. Everyone adored DaVea Lenora, AKA, Juicie, Chocolate Drop, and Beans. She loved talking to God and attending church with her granny Donna, taking trips with her auntie Dionne, playing games with Granny Diana, and using the iPad with her mommy. DaVea was preceded in death by maternal great grandparents Ollie & Thelma Barnes, Carl Hobbs, Edward Moore; paternal grandmother Velma Mullins; aunt Yolanda Mullins; uncles Andre, Eric, and Bryant Mullins. She leaves to cherish her memory, mother Dionna L. Smith, father Maxie Rallings, maternal grandparents Donna Smith, Diana Hobbs, Edward Moore Sr., maternal great-grandmother Gwen Moore, and paternal grandfather Maxie D. Rallings Sr. She has a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, her namesake, aunt, Lenora Barnes, and godmothers Kourtney Manning and Jakeyla Ezell who all loved her dearly. The celebration of DaVea's life will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 2:00pm at New Hope MB Church, 2307 Rhode Island Street, Gary, IN. Visitation, Monday, November 9, 2015 from 12-8 pm at Guy & Allen Funeral chapel.
