Words can not express how much Mother Haggard meant to me and the Thompson family. She truly was a beautiful woman of God that always had a warm embrace and reassuring words of love for me. To the entire family I thank you for sharing her with me. May the love, wisdom and memories that you have of Mother help you through your hours of bereavement.

To Peggy Miller and the entire Haggard Family:

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Mother Lavinia has made her departure from this world and will surely be missed by all who loved her, but remember that according to John 14:1-6, that "He" has prepared a place for us in one of "His" many mansions and her soul has claimed it's place in her "ETERNAL HOME".

Remember: "Your FAITH will get you through anything, even in times of sorrow.

I met cousin Lavinia when I was a young kid visiting her Uncle Floyd (my grandfather) in Ms. I reconnect with her again as a young lady at a family reunion in Ms 2008. I was drawn to her spirit, it was connection of the soul. I love to hear her voice we continue to talk on the phone thru out the years. She became ill and we didn't talk on the phone as much and not at all in last couple of years. She stayed on my mind and I kept her in my prayers, just like I knew she would do for me. To her children, I love your mom she gave me laughter and love and I never felt nothing but warmth and concern for everyone she love. I thank God for my Rock and surely you all, also. Cousin, I will miss you until we meet again. Fly Away Cousin Lavinia and be At Rest.

Deepest condolences to the Haggard family on the homegoing of their sweet and loving matriarch. She was a beautiful lady and a fantastic role model. A woman who served God and her church faithfully.
Mrs. Haggard and my Mom, Eartha Dilworth, shared a special friendship as Mission Sisters and sisters of the heart. They enjoyed working together in the Naomi Circle and in later years, having great phone conversations. She will deeply missed. We will keep your family lifted in our prayers.
