Lance Anthony Hughes age 37, of Indianapolis, IN. Born November 3, 1977 passed away Tuesday July 7, 2015. He received Christ at an early age. He was employed at Gate Gourmet at the Indianapolis International Airport, a graduate of Westside High School class of 1995. Lance was honorably discharged from the US Navy. He leaves to cherish his memory parents Frank and Patricia Hughes of Gary; brothers Thomas (Lisa) Hughes of Georgia and Richard (Mia) Hughes of Virginia; sisters Patrice Hughes of Virginia and Kelly Hughes of Indianapolis and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation Saturday July 11, 2015 from 9 to 2:00 p.m. Family hour 1:00 p.m. Funeral service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. all services at the Guy & Allen Chapel 2959 W. 11th Ave. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.

Pat I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. I remember Lance very well and he was always caring and had a nice smile. I pray that God will comfort you and your family and grant you the peace that surpasses all understanding.

I knew Lance, he was a great friend. Full of life and we joked and laughed about everything. I am from Gary but I met him working at Gategourmet and even though I left the company we stayed in touch. I am very very sad to know he is gone and I will incredibly miss my bro.
