Mr. Edwin Duane Parsons

Edwin D. Parsons Piedmont, SC Edwin Duane Parsons, 72, husband of Carol Parsons, passed away on December 11, 2019. Born in Oskaloolsa, Iowa, he was the son of the late Phillip Paul Parsons and the late Thelma Hull Parsons. Edwin was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He later earned a MBA from Clemson University. He retired from Michelin-Greenville with thirty-two years of service, was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church, and was a US Air Force Veteran. In addition to his loving wife Carol, he is survived by a son, Brian Parsons (Alicia) of Greer; two daughters, Amy P. Young (Jayson) of Simpsonville, and Lindsay P. Morrison (Todd) of Powdersville; two sisters, Phyllis Breedlove and Kristie Johnson of Oklahoma; and eight grandchildren, Jake Young, Sean Young, Emma Young, Tyler Morrison, Ethan Parsons, Nathan Morrison, Caleb Morrison and Lucas Parsons.
