Dolores Jean Jetty

Appleton - Dolores Jean Jetty, known as Dody to those who loved her, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at the young age of 76. She was born on August 21, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI to Frank and Sylvia Hartkopf. She married Joseph Jetty on November 16, 1963. Dody was a loving wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother who took pride in creating a home where all who lived there or just came to visit were welcomed and taken care of.

She is survived by her husband Joseph Jetty Sr.; children Joseph (Keri Kasper) Jetty Jr. and Lori (Tim) Sommer; grandchildren Cassandra (Cody) Pipkorn, Tyler (Sabrina Poutre) Jetty, Grayson Sommer, and Jensen Sommer; great-grandchildren Leland Pipkorn, Rowen Jetty, and Zander Jetty; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter-in-law, Heidi Jetty and many other family and friends.

Friends and family are invited to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, N1615 Meadowview Drive, Greenville on Saturday, April 10, 2021 for an 11:00 am funeral service to celebrate the life and love of Dody. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 am until the hour of the service. Her wisdom and advice will continue to be missed as much as it was the last decade of her life that was sacrificed to Dementia.
