Don Koehler Obituary

Don Koehler

Neenah - Don Koehler, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 13, 2021 due to a medical condition. He was born on June 27, 1961 and resided in Neenah. Don married Debbie Kaiko on April 21, 2001 and treasured their 20 years of marriage. He enjoyed fishing, sturgeon spearing, and deer hunting. Don was well known for his passion of off-road racing and made many friends in the community.

He was a family man at heart who was always there to lend a hand in any way he could. Don had the gift of gab and always enjoyed a good conversation. He liked a glass of Kesslers, watching the Packers, and spending time with his family. Don had a very special relationship with his step-son Chris, and showed his devotion by visiting and volunteering at Parkview Health Center while he was there. He was loved by his family and friends, and they will miss him greatly.

Don is survived by his wife Debbie, step-son Chris; siblings Ron (Mary), Ellen (Luke), Carla (Brian), Maria, and Kim (Dave); mother-in-law Nancy; brothers and sisters-in-law Joanne (Wally), Nancy (Pat), Mike (Vanessa), Sandy (Roger), Sharon (Jon), and Vicki; special friends Dennis, Ben, and Olivia; as well as his many fishing and deer hunting buddies. He was preceded in death by his mother Isabella E. (William) Weinandt, father Ronald L. Koehler, father-in-law Peter, and sister-in-law Loretta.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at The Dome, 1338 S. Commercial Street, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.

Our heartfelt love to all the family and dear friends of Donnie. A special hug to Debbie his wife. We are so sorry to hear of Donnies passing as it broke my heart to hear he had left us before we could all get together since we got back to Wisconsin. May God bless you all and send his special love to all during this hard time. Thank you Ellen for keeping us updated. We love you all.
