CLARENCE AYERS Obituary
CLARENCE "BUBBA" F., JR.
Clarence "Bubba" F. Ayers, Jr., 52, went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2014. He was born in Pittsburgh and lived his formative years in Plum, PA, graduating from Plum Senior High School. Clarence graduated Magna Cum Laude with two B.A. from Kent State University and Summa Cum Laude with an M.A. from Spalding University and was finishing up a M.A. Ed. from Malone University. His goal was to combine his love of riding and training horses, with his love of teaching and working with children and youths. Amazingly, Clarence did this all while being visually impaired. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. Bubba was our Cowboy and he had the gift to minister. He faced all adversity with courage and grace. He was surrounded by his loved ones who witnessed the miracle of his soul crossing over to the Heavens above as a spiritual Warrior. Preceded in death by his father, Clarence F. Ayers, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly (Bryan) of 10 years; mother, Wanda B. Ayers of Lenoir, NC; sons, Jason, Allen and Christopher, all of Pittsburgh, PA; brother, Bryan (Wandie) of Church Hill, TN; sisters, LaVonne Davenport (Jamie) of Carthage, TN, Jackie Pearl (Virgil) of Humble, TX; aunt, Ola Watson (Tom) of Cuyahoga Falls; and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to Dr. Gurney and all the staff of Mercy Medical. A private memorial celebration of his life will be determined at a later date. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Pegasus Farms, 7490 Edison St. N.E., Hartville, OH 44632 or any organization for the Society of the Blind. Fall is here. It's cooler and the leaves have started crackling. Time to change the clocks again. So not looking forward to the holidays and another long winter without you. I'm sitting here wondering how in the world I made it through one year without you. The only thing I can come up with is that I was completely numb. This year has been difficult but I know how incredibly blessed I was to have you in my life. I know you are with our Heavenly Father! I truly and deeply believed you were an actual superhero, You conquered every challenge head on. You could not possibly die.I put a sort of block in my mind, refusing to allow myself to realize the truth. This magic man, this powerful, energetic, magnetic, gifted and special man could not possibly be dead. This man who had such a strong relationship with God, with such a deep and enlightened connection to Spirit he could never really die, right? It was impossible. This picture is what I hope to see when my time comes: my ride; my love patiently waiting for me. As long as I breathe you will always be remembered.

My prayers to the family. Bubbua was my first childhood friend(1st grade-high school). Played together all summer long. Sad that you're gone my friend. You were a good friend, a good dad, and a good man. Didn't see you much after high school, but enjoyed the few times we did cross paths then. Rest in peace my friend. I know you're in Heaven, hope we can get together again there someday. To Bryan, LaVonne, & Mrs. Ayers, my deepest sympathy.

Bubba was a good friend and inspiration. He didn't let his blindness define him. He would ride his horse up to see me, be out clearing a ditch of trees with a chain saw, working around the yard, and never complain. I thank God that I had the Honor to cross paths with this man, he Will Be Missed!

Bubby is how I remember that cute little curly headed boy playing on Cassius and Franklin Drive. His diminishing sight never stopped him from enjoying all things that every other boy in the neighborhood did. Wanda and family I Love You all. Prayers for strength and peace.
