SUSAN FELDMAN Obituary
On Saturday, June 23, 2018. Beloved mother of Scott (Tami) Feldman and Eric (Brenda) Feldman; sister of Ed (Iris) Smith; loving grandmother of Joshua and Brandon Feldman and Gabrielle Feldman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Irene Smith. Susan started Guiseppi's Pizza restaurant in Rockville and Gaithersburg, MD 28 years ago with her sons, Scott and Eric, where she became known as 'Guiseppi's pizza lady' of Rockville. Graveside services and interment will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Temple Sinai Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, INC., In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to UNICEF at www.donate.unicefusa.org.

I am so sorry for the loss of Sue. It was always a pleasure to see her. What a lovely person and fantastic restauranteur. Sue and Scott have been long-time friends of the many local runners they feed after track work-outs and before MCRRC running events. My sincere condolences to the family, and to the many friends and patrons who knew and loved Susan Feldman.

Sue always had bright and welcoming smile whenever I walked in Giuseppi's to pick up my usual Friday order. No matter how bad my week had been, Sue's spirit always lifted me up. The loss of Sue is is no different than a loss of a close family member. I and many at the MCRRC Running Community are saddened by the loss of a wonderful woman. We have always been so welcomed by Scott, Sue and the staff - it has been a second home to all of us. I will be at Pizza tonight (Wednesday) just as I have been for the last 20 years (or has it been longer).
