George, despite your nickname "sour grapes" from much younger days you were always been a keen observer of people, places, and politics. I remember your habit of reading the Sunday newspaper, sitting in bed, when I came to see Rick. You were a good friend with a dry wit, and you are sorely missed by all.

So much has happened in the eight years since George passed away. He would have been proud to see the next generation of Sofis family appearing on the scene. Again "Eonia ei mnini".

George was a man of high integrity coupled with good humor. We always enjoyed our interactions with him as an investment broker and adviser for over 30 years.

Principles, integrity, honesty--traits he lived by.
Compassion, caring and generosity--cornerstones of his life. These qualities will be missed--the man even more.

George, dear friend, you are sadly missed by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing you. We debated many of the issues of the day over a cold glass at the Red Bull and places now long gone. Your memory lives on in our hearts and minds. Safe journey.
