WILLIAM H. "BILL"
Born October 2, 1928, of Pittsburgh, peacefully, on Monday, September 14, 2015. Beloved husband of Ruth Ann (Rooney) Shea; loving father of David (Michele) Shea, Paul (Lisa) Shea and Jennifer (Lee) Youmans; dear grandfather of Brenden (Elizabeth), Michael (Kilby), Collin (fiancee Bridget), Paige, Rebecca and Elizabeth; loving great-grandfather of Jack and Audra. He is survived by one sister, Mary (and the late Robert) Schwer and was preceded in death by three siblings, John (surviving Dolores) Shea, Clarence (Grace) Shea and Geraldine (surviving William) Wiseman and his parents, Cyril and Linda Shea. Bill was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and two degrees from Carnegie Institute of Technology, BS Industrial Management and MS Industrial Administration. Bill was a US Marine veteran. He was a management consultant for Westinghouse Electric Corp. and later with Macro International. He worked extensively overseas applying the innovative concepts of TQM-Total Quality Management-to the privatization of publicly held companies. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the BOCK FUNERAL HOME, LPD., 1500 Mount Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's of the Assumption Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Central Catholic High School, 4720 Fifth Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15213.

Mr. Bill Shea is always remembered in my heart as a solid advocate for doing the "Right Thing". WE all have events in our lives when we need guidance to help us solve many of the challenges that are placed in each of our lives. Mr. Shea, by his silent example, always displayed friendship & good sportsmanship!!!!

I knew a Bill Shea from happy days of ushering at the Nixon in the 50's. Don't know if this is the same Bill, if so, he really was a sweet guy.

Mr. Shea played basketball with all the kids in the neighborhood. I will never forget him; He had the coolest two hand push shot when the game was on the line and he usually sank it! Peace be with all the Shea family members, I know you are sad, but please try to understand, you now have an Advocate to pray to when times are ruff.
