I am deeply saddened to hear of Dr. Jannetta's passing. He is the man that saved my life. Through tears streaming down my face, trying to tell Him my problem, he touched my hand and said, "I know, I will help you." And indeed You did Dr. Jannetta. The diagnosis was Trigeminal Neuralgia. Although it has been more than twenty years since I have seen Him, so often He crosses my mind. Thank You Heavenly Father for giving us Dr. Peter Jannetta, for He has saved so many of us. May You soar through the Heavens with Your reward. Your intelligence and compassion has touched the world. Thank You, Dr. Peter J. Jannetta

To the Jannetta family. I met this wonderful man in 1972. I was a patient of the late Dr.Albert Ferguson who told me me that I needed a Neuro Surgeon and he called Peter and asked him if he would see me. Peter said he really was too busy but that he we could talk to me. However, when we met he said that we "fell in like with each other" and he agreed to do my surgery which was a cervical fusion. It was a complete success and I am forever grateful to him. I saw him over the years and my husband and I considered him a good friend. He was a great and gentle man. Rest in peace. You are missed.

Dr Jannetta saved my life. My mother was one of Dr Jannetta's first patients with trigeminal neuralgia. He did everything he could for her but she suffered for 40 years. Two years after her passing I was diagnosed with the same horrible disease. Not wishing to suffer, and no idea where to turn I wrote to Dr Jannetta since retired for advice. He replied immediately and recommended the surgery. I did not hesitate and I am now pain free. Thank goodness for his skill, expertise and caring sensitivity so now I can live a normal life.

To the Jannetta Family ,
My deepest condolences to all of the Jeannetta family on the loss of Dr. Peter. I knew him somewhat casually .. However, we shared a common bond and that was music. Peter loved to play the banjo and his favorite music was Dixieland. I am a "jazz guitarist but Dr. Jannetta and I would share our musical interests whenever we would meet All the best to the Jannetta Family . Im sure Dr. Peter will be sorely missed ..

I want every member of Dr. Jannetta's family to know that his research into chronic vertigo, together with the diagnostic skills of his partner, Dr. Moeller, saved my life. In 1980, I was sentenced to a life of falling down, likely never being able to work, or enjoy my children and my grandchildren. God bless you, Doctor. Even the VA Hospital knew of your pioneering efforts, so much so that I'm receiving a VA disability pension.
Your work has no doubt saved the quality of life for thousands, and it is your legacy. Indeed, quite an impressive legacy. Sleep with the angels and in the peace of our Lord. And of course, thank you.
