To Karmen, Brandon and Roy, When Anita spoke of all of you she had such joy in her eyes. Her passion for her job and her family was so strong. Working for her and sharing personal moments will always be with me. The things she did for me personally showed how much of a loving caring person she was.

I am so sorry for your loss. Know that God has a plan and purpose for us all. Anita was my director at Highmark for a few years. I always admired her style of management and she was such a classy lady. She was truly humble. Anita was an inspiration to me as well as numerous other women at Highmark. May you all continue to lean on God for comfort and guidance. She will be truly missed.

Dearest Ms. Joyce,
My heart goes out to you during this time of you missing Anita. May you remember the delightful times you have shared together.
It was a pleasure to have you both in Yoga class at the Healthy Black Family Project. As I reflect on you two, you both were very determined to perfect the postures. Especially during this time, please put to use your deep breathing techniques to help you through the intense moments.
And please come back to class, I have some new music I know would interest you.
Namaste,

I was shocked to hear about the sudden passing of Anita.
Anita was my boss of 5+ years at Highmark, and she was the lady who molded me into the professional I am today. I know she will be truly missed by all. Highmark has lost another great and irreplaceable employee.
There are not many words to say in this difficult time. Just knowing that she is now in peace in a better place, puts a smile on my face.
You will be missed Anita, but I know you will still be with us all in spirit.

Karmen and family,
Shannon, Larry and I are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of your mother. We know and understand the pain that you are going through. Our door has always been open for you. You are free to use it as you always have. We are here for you for whatever you need.
(Revelation 21:4 KJV)
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Much Love, Rene' and Larry and Shannon

Nita,
Words can not express the love that I have for you.
You were my first true love, the mother of two of my children, and my best friend.
You have always been there for me thru thick and thin.
You were the type of person, who looked for the best in everyone and everything.
You will always be an angel to me now and forever.
I will always hold all of our memories in my heart forever.
We have a bond that will never be broken. That bond is Brandon and Karmen.

I wish I had the words to comfort you, In all your pain and grief.
But I know there is nothing I can say or do, to help you find relief.
Your numbness will soon subside,
and the pain and tears will be real.
Just remember no matter what,
It's ok to feel what you feel.
Each day may seem like a burden,
sometimes it will be hard to face.
But they will never stop loving you, just because they're in a new and better place
They will live on in your hearts,
you will all have memories to share.
And when your time on earth is through, with open arms, they will be waiting for you there.

I have such wonderful memories of Anita. Anita was not only my boss for 5 years, but a true mentor to me as well. She believed in me, right out of college, and gave me my first chance at Highmark. I owe so much to her! I will miss her dearly, and will pray for her family during this time.

To the family and Friends of Anita:
Deep in the center of our being there is an infinite well of love, joy, peace and wisdom. Just for a moment, take a deep breath and connect with that part of yourself.
It only takes a breath to go to your center. Close your eyes and know that Anita is at that center with us at peace.
I am sorry for your loss and pray that your inner strength will help you through these challenging times.
