ARTHUR J., Jr.
Age 68, of Whitehall, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle against cancer. Son of the late Arthur J., Sr. and Maria Theresa (Gomez-Garcia) Mayor, Arthur was born on December 16, 1947. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Yvonne (Query) Mayor; his daughters, Nicole (Jennifer) Mayor of Dallas, TX and Tina (Robert) Calla of Collier Township; and his granddaughters, Morgan, Scarlet and Magenta Calla. Arthur is also survived by his sisters, Carmen (David) Mader of Tarpon Springs, FL and Carol (Charles) McCowan of Jacksonville, FL; sisters-in-law, Cecelia (the late Donald) McNeil of Chicago, IL, Marjorie (Paul) Winter, Linda (the late Richard) Marasco, Jacqueline Brnilovich of Pittsburgh and Michele Query (Alison Shore) of Springfield, VA; and brother-in-law, Paul (Lisa) Query of Naples, FL. In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his in-laws, Albert and Margaret Query; sisters-in-law, Annette Haughey and Patricia Vietmeier; and brother-in-law, Alan Query. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, Pleasant Hills at 10:00 am. Please send condolences to:

It is with great sorrow that we bid Art farewell. He was a such loving person, and was an incredibly positive and supportive influence in our lives. We love and will miss him, and wish Yvonne, their daughters, spouses and granddaughters peace in knowing that Art is in heaven.
