My Dear Debbie, It has been too long that I have seen and/or talked with you. I am traveling from Tennessee to Pittsburgh today and got a phone call from Alice Slagle with the news of your mom's passing. She was a special person that touched my life in a way I will always be grateful. Barb will be missed. I would like to thank you again for the time you arranged for me to spend with your mom... I am truly a better person for having known you and your family.

Lisa & Debbie,

And He will lift you up on Eagles wings
bear you on the break of dawn
Make you to shine like the Sun
And hold you in the palm of His hand.

You are in my prayers.

Barbara and I were friends for 40 years. We met when our eldest daughters started Brownies and wanted to go to Day Camp and we volunteered to be counselors. We had such great times in scouts and everything else we did together over the years. She was all of the best things you hope for in a friend.
I will cherish all my memories of Barbara and will miss her.

My sympathy to the family. Mrs. Mears was a lovely woman whom I met at the Residence for Renal Care. I enjoyed talking about books with her. My thoughts are with you.
