we attended many Don Williams performances for many years, From front row seats to hard to see seats. I'm 80 years old,but many years ago I was extremely impressed with Charles Cochran on piano for Don Williams ,Charles Cochran indeed has considerable talent not only on the piano but also arranging music . When we attended a Don Williams performance--and purchased tickets well in advance--we always tried to be as close to front and on right side close to Charles Cochran.

While searching info on Don Williams today, I ran across info on the death of Charles Cochran. I'd like to express my condolences to his family and friends. Since he played with Don Williams I'm sure much of the piano music was his. It is beautiful and he will be missed. May GOD remember and bless him and his family and friends thru difficult times and grant all peace. Thank you for the music.

To the Family of Charles Cochran,

I was fortunate enough to see Charles tickling the ivories many times over the years and was even lucky enough to talk with him once on the phone back in the 90’s when I’d called for then road manager Gus Leaux. Charles was very kind and humbly thanked me when I praised his work on the “Borrowed Tales” CD they’d just released. He was a gifted keyboardist and kind human being. He’ll be sorely missed.

With Deepest Sympathy for your loss,

So many memories are flooding my mind right about now. I have just found out about Chuck's passing and I am so sorry he has left us. So many boyhood memories in Midway. Especially the night we got rained out, sleeping in a tent in the backyard. Good memories. Although I haven't seen him in years, I already miss him. We pray the good Lord grant peace and comfort to all of his family. I have always been so proud to be 1st Cousin to such a talented and respected musician as Charles certainly was.
