Age 91, of Bethel Park, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 5, 2018. Loving husband of 59 years to the late Mercedes (Sullivan) Wingertsahn; father of Linda Hanley, Sandy (Wayne) Schiffauer, Nancy (Charles) Sekinger, Clair Wingertsahn, Jr., Glenn (Ginny Ersek) Wingertsahn, David (Melanie Milligan) Wingertsahn, and Keith (Kim Schram) Wingertsahn; grandfather of 18; great-grandfather of 19; brother of Alvina Volz, Richard, Joan Weiss, and the late Marie Dominick, Helen Smith, William, Robert, Elizabeth Marshall, Anna Mae Brynda, Frances Hoffman, and Edward; son of the late William and Elizabeth (Monrean) Wingertsahn. He was a WW II Veteran of the US Navy, 71 year member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 12, and a long time employee of McKamish, Inc. He was an active participant of various church activities of St. Joan of Arc Church, and an avid hunter and outdoors enthusiast. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 8, 4-7 p.m. and Friday, November 9, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Nativity Parish, South Park, on Saturday, November 10, 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park. Donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association.

We visited Uncle Clair in September. He
was very happy and spoke of his wonderful
family. His love of hunting and some funny
adventures. We enjoyed our last visit with
him.
