BUSHYEAGER DEANNA (DeVILLING) "DEE"
Age 75, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014. Born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Dorothy and Frank DeVilling, she was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School (1956) and the St. Francis School of Nursing (1984) Residing in Tellico Village. Dee was a member of The Community Church at Tellico Village, an ardent member of the Village Quilters Club and The Nine Hole Golf Group. Dee was also a second generation Chautauquan and a member of the CLSC Class of 1978 as well as a graduate of the Clown Training School, The Villages, FL, where she created her clown persona, "Tilly". Dee and Tilly brought much needed joy to the elderly, sick children, and her friends. Preceded in death by parents and sister, Marilyn. Survived by high school sweetheart and adoring husband, Gerry; four children, Debra Wood (Jeanna), Phoenix, Wendy Wisniewski (George), San Francisco, Molly Dunning (David), Eden Prairie, MN, and William A. Wood III (Olga), San Diego; stepchildren, Gregg Bushyeager (Ginny), Fishers, IN, Beth Williams, Wexford, PA, and Amy Abney (George), Atlanta; 14 grandchildren; five brothers, Skip, Mark, Andy, Paul, and Bruce; many nieces and nephews; and an abundance of lifelong friends. All will miss her dearly. Services honoring and remembering Deanna Bushyeager will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the Community Church at Tellico Village, 130 Chota Center, Loudon, TN. Dr. Tim Meadows will officiate. Contributions in Dee's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 871 N. Weisgarber Rd., Knoxville, TN 37909 or to Shangri-La Therapeutic Academy of Riding (STAR), 11800 Highway 11 E, Lenoir City, TN 37772. Interment will be held at a later date in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA. The family will greet friends following the service at the Community Church of Tellico Village.
