Professional arrangements entrusted to SPRIGGS & WATSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 720 North Lang Ave. Visitation Wednesday, June 8, 2016, 10-11 a.m. Services 11 a.m.

Shawna, I truly hope you see this. I am Sharon, Debbie's friend from Morgan State and live in Texas. I have been trying to reach her for about 6 months. You should remember me but if not, your mom was like a sister to me and we have maintained friendship over 30 years. I stubbled on this today and simply devastated!

So So sorry to hear of her passing, i just saw her at her Mothers funeral, she appeared to be fine to me. I am amazed at the glory of the Lord, she was with dignity and peace, it radiated. I know the scripture tells us that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". God bless you all in this most troubling and heartbreaking times. With my heartfelt sympathy. Peace to you all.
