Doris was one of the gentlest souls I had the good fortune of knowing. I am sure she is with the Lord.

Doris was always such a wonderful spirited person. A heart of gold & always tried to speak to people & give her smile. You Doris, always did the right thing at all times. You gave people a smile that didn't always deserve one (me in a bad mood somedays at school grumpy, u smiled & always had a kind word & i didnt deserve your smile & yet u gave it anyway & asked if it was ok.) Love & thanks Doris for being you. RIP dear Doris

Glad that Dorie loved Jesus, and I recall that our last conversation was about Him. Glad that she has everlasting peace and is celebrating her birthday with much JOY!

Dear Linda and family,
I am so sorry to hear that Doris has died. I taught Doris when she was in elementary school, in fact, I taught her at home after her back surgery for almost a year or more. I have alot of good memories of Doris laughing and having fun as she accomplished her lessons. I also remember the day she came back to school and was greeted by all her classmates. Once again, so sorry for your loss.
Mrs Angela Shearer,
former Pitcairn teacher
