FLORENCE GODICH Obituary
FLORENCE M. "FLO" (PHILLIPS)
Peacefully on Sunday, October 23, 2016, age 86, of Trafford. Loving and devoted mother of Mark Phillips; sister of Catherine Kukic; sister-in- law of Pat Phillips. Preceded in death by husband, Marko Godich; parents, Nick and Dorothy Phillips; and siblings, Angie Kuchinick and Ted Phillips. Flo was retired from the Bureau of Employment for 37 years. She was a member of the St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church and was a former choir member for many years. Friends welcome in the ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, 412-824-4332 on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Pomen service at 7:30 p.m. Services will be held on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in the St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church with the Very Rev. D.C. Malich officiating. PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO CHURCH ON THURSDAY. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles. Please visit us at: www.alfierifuneralhome.com for online condolences.

My mother (also named Florence) worked with Flo, and I knew her as a referee when I also worked for the Bureau. I always respected her knowledge, and loved her sense of humor. I'm really glad she got to enjoy a long retirement. God bless you, Flo.
