WILLIG GENEVIEVE S. (AYOOB)
Of Henderson Nevada, formerly of Homestead and Brookline, passed away on April 10, 2009 after a brave battle with cancer. She is survived by Charles, her husband of 50 years, sons Charles, Christopher (Gina), Robert (Rachel), Matthew (Chris), and Gregory (Claudia) Willig, 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Craig. Genevieve, a 1957 graduate of Homestead High School, later moved to Brookline and in 1961 relocated to Southern California where her husband served as a Los Angeles police officer. In 2000, they retired to Henderson, Nevada. A memorial mass will be celebrated on April 24th in LaMirada, California.

I worked with Gen at Denny's in 1987 and she was a very kind lady with a great sense of humor, always talking about her family. My deepest sympathies to her loved ones.
