Age 79, of Stowe Twp. on Sunday March 16, 2008; beloved wife of the late Michael; dearly beloved mother of Andrew (Mary Ellen) of VA and Michael of McKees Rocks; gramma of Shawn and Jason; sister of John Kapko (Eleanor) of N. Hills, Betty Prostredny of GA and the late Mary Skowron, Michael Kapko and Andrew Kapko; also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends received Wednesday 12-8pm at the VALERIAN F. FUNERAL HOME INC., 238 Helen St., McKees Rocks. Parastas Wednesday 3:30pm funeral Thursday 10am with a liturgy of Christian burial in Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church 10:30am.

Dear Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your Mother. Growing up in the "BOTTOMS" I remember your Mom and Dad as I was growing up. Our lives were intertwined with our church, Holy Ghost. I remember quite well "Grandmother Kapko" and spoke often with her. The passing of your Mom marks the passing of another generation of people from the "Bottoms". This Thursday morning
I will offer my Divine Liturgy for the intention of your Mom and Dad and for the Kapko and Maslaney family members. May their memories be eternal - vicnaja jim pamjat.
