JANICE MARIE CRAYCHEE

CRAYCHEE JANICE MARIE (PECORA)
Age 62, of Delmont, passed away peacefully, Friday, February 5, 2016, in Forbes Hospital, Monroeville, with her loving family by her side. She was born June 29, 1953, in McKeesport, the beloved daughter of Ida (Korap) Pecora, of McKeesport and the late Andrew Pecora. Janice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend whose most cherished times were spent with her family. She was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Catholic Church, Delmont. Janice was very involved with her church having served on the pastoral council, as an altar server, choir member, sacristan and greeter, "Notes of Friendship" and mercy meals. She was a member of the book club and a money counter. Janice will be sadly missed by her beloved family. In addition to her mother, Ida, she is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Paul D. Craychee; son, Tim Craychee of Ashburn, Virginia; daughter, Kelly Eckstein and her husband, Aaron of Astoria, Oregon; brothers, Michael Pecora and his wife, Kathy of Marietta, Georgia and Andrew Pecora of McKeesport; aunt, Dolores Hampton of McKeesport; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Janice was the very proud grandmother of Zoe and Vivian Eckstein, both whom she treasured. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the VAIA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 463 Athena Dr., Delmont, 724-468-1177. A Funeral Mass for Janice will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Baptist de la Salle Catholic Church, 497 Athena Dr., Delmont with Father Joseph Bonafed as celebrant. Everyone please meet at the church. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
