JOSEPH SUKITS Obituary
Age 91, of Allison Park, on Saturday, May 1, 2010. Husband of the late Irene E. (Kosar) Sukits; father of Jay W. (Kathryn) Sukits of Franklin Park and Gale A. (Susan) Sukits of Shaler Twp; grandfather of Valerie, Alison and Capt. Peter Sukits; brother of the late Rudolph Sukits Jr. and Marie Hoffman; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Joe was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, a Sgt. in the 80th Infantry Division, who served 18 months in combat in the European Theater. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at BOCK FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ursula Church, Allison Park on Wednesday at 10 a.m. donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Dear Joe and Gale,
I worked with your mother at Gulf Oil, and believe it or not, Pat Butler and I still talk about her. We were to your parents home a couple of times and socialized with both your parents on several occasions. I am so sorry to read your Dad passed away and hope he did not suffer in his last years. It's nice to see that he lived to the age of 91 and I know you'll have pleasant memories of both parents. I'm sure your mother's name will come up again when we have Gulf discussions.

Kevin & I would like to express our sympathy on the loss of your Dad. May you take comfort in the fact that you had him in your life for as long as you did, & he was able to be there to share in your life as well as his grandchildren. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad/Grandpa. I can't believe he was 91. I loved to see him walking your dog and enjoying the day. He was a great conversationalist and very friendly. I know he will be greatly missed.
