Margaret Cinowalt Obituary
MARGARET "PEG" (ECKENRODE)
Born in Pittsburgh, PA on August 7, 1921, died at home with family at her side on Thursday, March 14, 2002. Peg was dearly loved by family and friends. She has lived in Fontana, CA for the past 17 years. Surviving relatives are sisters, Mary Larson and Josephine Manius; sons, Roy and Dan, daughters, Mary Ann, Sue and Pattie; grandchildren, Joy and Eric; great-grandchild, Celeste Joy; daughters-in-law, Yolanda Pacheco, Kathy and Carol Cinowalt and sons-in-law, John Ramos and Walt Mavracic. Peg is pre-deceased by her spouse, Andrew and son, Bill. Peg volunteered in many capacities all of her adult life, including a shelter for battered women, nursing homes, a library, VA hospital and as a Girl Scout leader. Peg received AARP's Chapter 555 Volunteer of the Year Award in 1991 and was recognized in a Fontana, CA newspaper feature story as a volunteer hero. If desired, donations may be sent to the Osteoporosis or Alzheimer Disease Foundation.

Dear Mary Ann and Family,
My deepest condolences to you all. Your Mother led a very rich life and her legacy is in you.
The hard part is realizing that now, we are the "elders".
I will pray for your Mother, and your family for strength to go on.
