I just found out today of Mrs Chirigos death. I have such fond memories of her and her bear puppet "Shiney"
I went back to visit her in the early 80's. She hugged me and said how proud she was of me for going into the dental field. (do you still have Shiney?)
What a beautiful lady!
God Bless,

Dear Claudia, Nick, Mr. Chirigos, and Chirigos and Siahos Families. It was with great sadness that I heard of the passing of Mrs.Chirigos. I have heard from my mother that unfortunately she has not been doing so well these past few years. For sure the kindness and love that she always displayed has assured her a place with God. It is unfortunate that often our lives grow a part for various reasons but the distance or time never diminishes one's fond memories of previous days. For many years it seemed like we were always together, laughing and hanging out. May it have been in church, in school, at the basketball court, in Baltimore, or best of all your den where your Mom would always be asking inquisitive questions about what we were going to do when we went out, and if we were not to talkative she would bring out a few snacks to make sure we hung around a little longer so she had more time to ask questions. Some how she would always get enough out of us to make her happy and we would be off. All of you have been such a big part of my life and each and every moment we were together was fantastic. May God grant all of you strength during these difficult days and may Mrs. Chirigos' wonderful memories forever be in your hearts and minds. She will certainly be missed. With our deepest sympathies.

Marian was such a kind, loving, graceful and beautiful woman. It was a pleasure to get to know her and John these last few years. She will be missed here!

My sincere sympathy to the Chirigos family on Marian's passing. I remember her well from her visits to Wilkinsburg High School. She provided a valuable service to children who, without her exam, would never have had a dental exam. She will surely be missed

Mrs. Chirigos was truly a lady who always had a smile on her face. All the kids looked forward to her coming to class along with her puppet for our dental lesson. She was a very special person and I know you have many wonderful memories that you will always treasure-
