Age 84 of Springdale, entered heaven on January 6, 2019. June was born on July 1, 1934 to her parents, the late James and Elizabeth Reay Thompson, and has been a lifelong resident of the community. June belonged to St. Alphonsus Church and enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and friends. Most of all, she was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, and will be missed greatly by all who knew her. Surviving her are her loving husband of 60 years, Henry Pobiak, Sr.; sons, Henry Pobiak, Jr., Gregory (Karen) Pobiak, Kevin (Robin) Pobiak, Todd (Tracy) Pobiak; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Aaron, Ryan, Todd, Jr., Collin, Taylor, Thomas; and three great-grandchildren, Madison, Melody, and Jameson. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Francis; and a brother, Bill. Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until start of blessing services at 11 a.m. in THE CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 801 Pgh. St. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Parkinson's Disease Association.
