Obituary Condolences

Reverend Ralph Link, 82, of Sarver, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 4, 2011 at 11:20 a.m. at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia. He was born April 9, 1929 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late Lee Albert Link and Minnie Francis (Gruener) Link. Reverend Link was a member of the Allegheny Presbyterian Church in Leechburg, Pennsylvania. He was a minister in the Butler Area for many years, and he also was a ceramic tile contractor. Reverend Link was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. He also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, clocks and model trains. Reverend Link is survived by his loving spouse Shirley M. (Neill) Link whom he married on December 15, 1951; two sons, R. Dale Link and his wife, Lianne of Fenton, MI and Lloyd Alan Link and his wife, Karen of Butler, PA; one daughter, Nancy Lynn Double and her husband, Gary of Petrolia, PA; seven grandchildren and also by a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. Friends will be received at THOMPSON- MILLER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 124 East North Street Butler, Pennsylvania Friday, May 6, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Allegheny Presbyterian Church, Leechburg, Pennsylvania on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Lay Minster, Lloyd Riggle of Allegheny Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Paul's Cemetery of Reserve Township, 2103 Highland Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Family suggests donations be made to donor's favorite charity.
