On Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at the age of 87. Sammy Jampetro, Jr., surrounded by his family went home to our Lord. Sammy was preceded in death by his infant son, and his mother and father, Samuel and Anna Jampetro. Husband of Loretta (Leo) Jampetro; beloved father of Rev. Samuel (Jackie) Jampetro IV and Selena Bonomo; brother of Nancy Turner, Sandy Searfoss, Louis Jampetro, John Jampetro and Ken Nestico; grandfather of Alyson Frantte, Dario Jampetro and Eliana Bonomo; great-grandfather of Josiah and Abram. Sammy loved his family and friends, especially close friends, Roland "Cuss" Cassanta, Bill Span and Walter Cooper. Sammy graduated from W&J in 1950. We love and miss him dearly. See you later, alligator, Poppy! Friends are welcome to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Joseph Church, Coraopolis on Friday, January 29, 2016, at 9:30 a.m. Arrangements by SANVITO FUNERAL HOME, Coraopolis, 412-264-3050.

This is from Lawrence Marchionda better known back home as junior.My mother was ann marchionda uncle sam and uncle al,s sister.
Even though I hav,nt seen Sammy for many years it saddens my heart to hear he has passed on.Even though I never knew you his wife and family I have fond memories of our early relationships.we kind of grew up together I,m now 85 and it seems time has flown by.My sincerest condolences.
