McDERMOTT WARREN C.
76, Westover, passed away January 26, 2013, at Miners Medical Center, Hastings. Born November 21, 1936, in New York City, the son of John Warren and Elizabeth (Fallacker) McDermott. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, Donna (Pace) McDermott; son, Richard McDermott; sisters, Betty and Mildred. Survived by wife of 20 years, Anita R. (Ridenour) McDermott; children, Frances (Albert) Kvorjak, Pittsburgh; Christopher (Marcee) McDermott, Hooversville; Patrick (Patricia) McDermott, Aliquippa; John (Rose) McDermott, McKeesport; Audra (Chad) Freeman, Santa Anna, CA; Michele James, Altoona; Mary (Jason) Bindus, Elizabeth, PA; Doug (Melanie), McDermott, Indiana; and Michael, McDermott, VA. Warren dedicated his life to his country serving 30 years in the US Navy. He later worked for the Boy Scouts of America. No viewing or visitation at the request of the deceased. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service with military honors which will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 1, at MORICONI FUNERAL HOME, INC.,1303 Bigler Avenue, Northern Cambria. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Warren's memory to the American Cancer Society or Wounded Warriors.

Frannie, Chris, Pat, John, Audra, Michele, Mary Grace, and the rest of the family. Its been a long time but my thoughts are with all of you when I think back to all the adventures at CTE. Your Dad was a good man and I appreciate knowing him and you. I sent a donation to wounded warriors in your Dad's memory.
