My Uncle "Wassey" was dearly loved and will be very missed. The times I spent with him over the years will be cherished for the rest of my life. I will miss his kind and smiling face, his humor and kindness. He contributed much to who I am today and for that I will always be grateful.

What an amazing story. I just stumbled across it while looking up my name on the internet. William was a true hero. Your family should be proud of this wonderful husband, father, and Army veteran. I thank him for making the ultimate sacrifice, so that my family and I can enjoy the fruits of freedom. I salute Private William Bonchak and pray for his family.
