Age 74, on Sunday, June 29, 2003 of Whitehall; beloved wife of the late Clarence "Butch" E. Powell; loving mother of Linda A. (Edward) Battista, Edward D. (Margaret), Robert A. (Michele), John J (Cheryl) and Cathy A (Philip) Pelton; devoted grandmother of Daniel, Amy, Zachary, Jacob, Elizabeth, Bobby, Kelli, Rachel, Sarah & Shannon; sister of Norbert F. Gehringer and the late Audrey Linder and Robert Gehringer; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, Tues., 7-9 and Wed., 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9:15am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10am.

I was so sorry to hear of your moms's passing. I always remember her coming into pizza hut and we would talk about waitressing. Her love and strength will carry all of you through this.
