I am very sorry for your loss. I'm sure there are countless former students, beyond those who have visited here, who remember Mr. Burda very fondly, just as our whole family does. He made a positive difference in the life of many a student.

I really loved Mr Burda I use to get in trouble at Hampton High and would be sent to his office. Rather than yell at me he would tell me what he did in school to get in trouble he was great I will miss him dearly

To the Burda Family,
As many have stated...Mr. Burda was a positive and guiding force at Hampton High. We both attended Hampton in the 70's, and Mr. Burda is remembered each and everytime we recall those wonderful years. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

I attended Hampton High school in the late 80's. Mr Burda always had time to sit and talk when i needed a friend to talk to. I always loved when wraped up our talk with " its 4th down and your on the five yard line what are you gonna do?" He was a treasure to the kids he touched and is irrreplaceable. I am so sorry for your loss.

Our deepest sympathy at your loss. I was hired by Steve at HHS and my husband was a student at HHS graduating in 1976; we both thought very highly of Steve. We would run into him on occassion in stores and he always remembered us, he was a wonderful person and will be missed by all.
Sincerely,
Debbi and Earl Best

My condolences and all good wishes during this difficult moment. Mr. Burda was the backbone of Hampton High when I attended there in the mid-1980s, and he deserves much appreciation for his quiet leadership.
