Age 66, of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Pittsburgh, on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at his summer home in Fethiye, Turkey. Father of Roxana Pepillo and Jean-Samuel Maskell; grandfather of Andrea and Angela Pepillo; son of Mary Rado Maskell and the late Sleepy Maskell; brother of Roxana Maskell and the Joseph Maskell; also survived by nieces and nephews. A Blessing Service will be held on Thursday at 12 Noon at the BRUSCO-FALVO FUNERAL HOME, INC. 214 Virginia Ave., Mt. Washington. Visitations 10 a.m. - 12 Noon.

Ron will be missed by all his friends and associates in the Phoenix Police Department and the Arizona Department of Public Safety, as well as in offices of the Drug Enforcement Administration throughout the U.S. and in Turkey and Hong Kong. He was an able and accomplished agent and a thoroughly enjoyable pal. Best wishes go to his memory and his family.

I met Ron through the mother of his son, Diane Rothchild. I have been fortunate to have stayed in touch with Ron, Frederique and Zozo after the passing of Diane. I had lunch with Ron before he returned to Turkey.
I love this family and you are in my thoughts and prayers!
