I met Doc when my son played on a baseball team with his grandson a couple of years ago. His knowledge and insight was invaluable to the coaches and the players. He was highly respected by everyone and will be sadly missed.

To Doc's family i want to say how truly blessed i was to be able to spend time with him. He was a loving, caring, selfless, beautiful soul. His youthful spirit was so wonderful to be around. He truly has touched me in profound way and i will always carry his memory with me forever. He tought me so much not only about his equipment and training. But life in general. He will truly be missed but never forgotten.

To Marion and her Family----------- Our deepest Sympathies and prayers go out to you at this time of loss and sorrow. We have never had the pleasure of knowing your father, but if he was anything like you(and we're sure that he was) then the world has lost a loving and beautiful soul. May God bless him on his journey. Sincerely

Doc was a wonderful, caring and brilliant individual who unselfishly shared his time and wisdom with others. He was an inspiration to so many. His accomplishments were a true testimony to his outstanding character. Doc was as my son said "the most intelliegent and interesting person" he ever met. He will be sadly missed but, lives on in the many people who were blessed to have known him. Doc was truly a "SAINT".

Mr. Lapsevic taught me at Mon Valley High School and his most valuable lessons were learned on the football field. I later became a career teacher and applied his lessons to my students. He was a wonderful and tolerant role model for me as a youth. What an exemplary life he led!
