To all of the Gustines -- how shocked and sad I am to learn of Mark's death. Unfortunately I haven't seen many of you for so long but the Gustine Family has always been close to my heart, starting way back with Frank, Mary Alice and Kay....knowing all of you has been such a joy. Losing a sibling is very difficult and this is when a family means so very much. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, along with my deepest sympathy.

Dear Mrs. Gustine, Heather, Kelly, Patrick, and Frank:
I was so sorry to hear about your loss. I offer my deepest sympathy to each of you. The Mass of Resurrection at St. Winifred’s Church for your husband/father was beautiful. From the bells at the beginning, the placement of the white pall, the uplifting readings, Frank’s unbelievable flute playing, and the wonderful tributes at the end, this was truly a celebration of his life. My family and my students at St. Louise de Marillac School will continue to remember you in our prayers.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy on hearing of Mark's unexpected passing. A relative from Pittsburgh read about it in the newspaper and knew that you all had been our neighbors. We have good memories of Mark as a kind and friendly neighbor. May God rest his soul and bring strength & comfort to you & your family.
Sincerely,
Leon, Andrea, Georgiana, & Danielle Pappas

We have many happy memories of time spent with Mark's parents when Rog and Frank, Sr. were coaching basketball together at Waynesburg College. We knew them best when Frank, Jr., was a baby and toddler. We knew, of course, of Mark and his sister and brother who followed.

We know it is very hard to have the first of the siblings go. Please know that we hold you all in our hearts and prayers at this very difficult time.
