Age 77, of Ingram, unexpectedly on Sunday November 29, 2009 beloved husband of Rosa Dino Hassett; dear father of Gina Olin, LuAnn (Thomas) Friday, Thomas (Joanne) Hassett, Joseph (Sandy) Hassett, Marge Latoche, John (Diane) and the late Dominic Hassett; also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; dear brother of Ronald (Betty Lou) Hassett and Barbara Lee (Sonny) Diel, also five nephews. Tom was a Korean War Veteran with the U.S. Army, a steel worker for over 20 years and a former volunteer of Contact Pittsburgh. Visitation Tuesday 6-8 p.m., Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the SCHEPNER- MCDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 165 Noble Avenue Crafton. Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the Church of the Ascension, 114 Berry Street, Pgh, Pa 15205, where Tom was an active member and served in various ministries. In lieu of flowers, memorial contrubitons may be made in Tom's name to the Church of the Ascension.
